Monday 9th April, 2012Give It Up For Trocaire
[back to contents]
Twenty-five students from first to fifth year participated in the Trocaire ‘Give it up for 24hrs’ Campaign which took place on 8th March.  On that day they were challenged to give up something they love and raise sponsorship for their efforts.  Some chose to give up talking, while others chose to give up their phones and TV.  Together they raised €900 which can be used by Trocaire in some of the poorest and most disadvantaged parts of the world.
While all students are to be congratulated on their great efforts, a particular mention must be given to four students who individually raised in excess of €70 – Gary Tolan, Luke Kiloran, Darragh Fields and Ciaran Mohan.
