[back to contents]

The Meitheal prefects organised their final event of the year for the first year students on the top football pitch. Everyone joined in the fun, on what was a bright sunny day. All of the usual Rodeo Wrecks fun equipment was used to the full and enjoyed by senior and junior students alike, with even the occasional teacher attempting to stay on the bronco bull.

The event was also a fundraiser for past pupil Matthew Fitzpatrick who recently fell and has serious spinal injuries. The Matty Fund aims to raise money to make Matthew's home wheelchair accessible & to meet any other needs he may have. Currently Matty is in Dun Laoghaire in the National Rehabilitation Hospital. The cheque for €200 was presented to Matthew's cousins Dean and Shane.
