Congratulations to Adrian Grew and James Corley and their teacher Ms. S. Mc Colgan on their great win at the National Enterprise Finals at Croke Park. 17000 students registered for the competition in September from 350 schools. This was a record number of entries and the Sem team face formidable competition in their senior category….
Students created wonderful posters expressing what it was to achieve Excellence in St. Macartan’s College. The competition was coordinated by Mr. P. West and Mr. N. Flynn to help promote the annual achievement awards in the school. The winners were Adam Corley, 2nd. Conor Lappin, 1st. and Darragh Maguire, 3rd.
Congratulations to 3rd Year students Darragh Todd and Oisín Lavelle and their teacher Ms. Maeve Mullen who recently attended and won a prize at the BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition in Dublin. Darragh and Oisín, both 14, came 2nd place in the Intermediate Biology and Ecology Section at the competition, which was celebrating its 50th event….
